TL;DR

Key Account Manager (Collectables): Driving GMV growth and managing strategic relationships with existing sellers in the Benelux market with an accent on data analysis, commercial terms negotiation, and strategic planning. Focus on coaching other account managers, developing seller growth plans, and ensuring positive customer experience.

Location: Hybrid in Amsterdam, Netherlands (minimum 2 days working from the office).

What you will do

  • Develop deep knowledge of sellers' needs and educate them on fulfilling KPIs such as Lot Submissions, Average Lot Value and Sell Rate.
  • Establish medium and long-term strategic growth plans for assigned sellers, aligning with Category Managers and Sales Lead / Director.
  • Lead commercial strategies within your territory and facilitate sales meetings with experts and sellers.
  • Conduct regular business reviews, translating data into actionable insights for commercial processes and KPIs.
  • Educate sellers on driving a positive customer experience for buyers.
  • Translate new opportunities into commercial actions for continuous growth.

Requirements

  • +5 years of experience in Sales and/or Account Management.
  • Excellent communication skills regardless of channel (in person, phone, email, cross-team).
  • Fluent in Dutch and English.
  • Nurture strategic relationships with top sellers and demonstrate a deep understanding of the company and seller needs.
  • Possess a strategic mindset to drive growth and excellence, with skilled negotiation abilities.
  • Work autonomously, demonstrating excellent organisational skills.
  • Display a genuine passion for collectables.
  • Open to regular travel to meet top sellers in Benelux.
  • Must be based in or close to Amsterdam.
  • Capable of using Google tools (sheet, slides) and analysing and interpreting data; experience with HubSpot is a plus.
