What you will do

• Define and communicate technical art direction and standards ensuring quality and consistency across projects.
• Develop and maintain efficient art workflows and pipelines, owning graphics performance and content pipelines.
• Research and implement new technologies to enhance visual fidelity and interactivity.
• Provide technical guidance and support to the art team, solving complex challenges.
• Collaborate closely with art directors, technical directors, designers, and producers to align technical art vision with creative goals.
• Manage technical art budgets and schedules ensuring timely delivery of assets.

Requirements

• Must be located in or willing to relocate to Xi'an, China.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Art, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3-5 years experience as Lead Technical Artist or Technical Art Director with at least one shipped AAA title.
• Expertise in art creation tools (Photoshop, Maya, ZBrush, Substance) and scripting/programming (Python, C#, C++).
• Strong understanding of game engines such as Unreal Engine and Unity.
• Strong leadership and communication skills with ability to mentor and motivate teams.
