What you will do

• Own the product vision and roadmap for CommonGrants and SimplerGrants reporting/automation, translating goals into prioritized backlog items.
• Lead sprint planning and facilitate agile ceremonies to drive team flow and continuous improvement.
• Plan and facilitate cross-program meetings and events with HHS and multiple vendors to align goals and timelines.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to inform product direction.
• Track delivery progress, risks, and dependencies, providing clear updates to support governance.
• Support budget tracking and contract management to ensure responsible use of funds.

Requirements

• Must have lived and worked in the United States for at least 3 of the last 5 years
• 8+ years related experience including 3+ years in delivery or product management roles using agile methodologies.
• 5+ years experience as Scrum Master and/or Product Owner on agile scrum teams.
• Familiarity with agile project management tools like GitHub and Zenhub.
• Ability to coach teams in agile practices and remove impediments independently.
• Strong experience managing complex stakeholder relationships and cross-team collaboration.

Nice to have

• Experience managing technical product roadmaps for developer tools.
• Prior software or data engineering experience.
• Certified Scrum Master and/or Product Owner certifications.
• Experience working with government agencies and civic tech organizations.
• U.S. Veteran status is welcomed and encouraged.
