What you will do
- Own the product vision and roadmap for CommonGrants and SimplerGrants reporting/automation, translating goals into prioritized backlog items.
- Lead sprint planning and facilitate agile ceremonies to drive team flow and continuous improvement.
- Plan and facilitate cross-program meetings and events with HHS and multiple vendors to align goals and timelines.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to inform product direction.
- Track delivery progress, risks, and dependencies, providing clear updates to support governance.
- Support budget tracking and contract management to ensure responsible use of funds.
Requirements
- Must have lived and worked in the United States for at least 3 of the last 5 years
- 8+ years related experience including 3+ years in delivery or product management roles using agile methodologies.
- 5+ years experience as Scrum Master and/or Product Owner on agile scrum teams.
- Familiarity with agile project management tools like GitHub and Zenhub.
- Ability to coach teams in agile practices and remove impediments independently.
- Strong experience managing complex stakeholder relationships and cross-team collaboration.
Nice to have
- Experience managing technical product roadmaps for developer tools.
- Prior software or data engineering experience.
- Certified Scrum Master and/or Product Owner certifications.
- Experience working with government agencies and civic tech organizations.
