What you will do

• Lead technical vision and architecture for AI-driven design system solutions ensuring scalability and frontend standards compliance.
• Drive development of generative AI tools producing frontend code aligned with design systems and accessibility.
• Maintain and evolve a large system of 100+ packages including content, standards, and tooling.
• Mentor and guide engineers fostering technical excellence and innovation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners to deliver impactful user experience solutions.

Requirements

• Must be based in Australia or New Zealand with eligible working rights and timezone overlap
• Strong interest and experience in AI, especially generative AI for frontend code
• Experience architecting and maintaining large-scale systems (100+ packages)
• Proven technical leadership and mentoring experience
• Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6), HTML5, CSS, and modern frameworks (React, Angular, Vue)
• Experience with modern testing frameworks (Jest, Cypress, Mocha, Chai)
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
