TL;DR

Frontend Architect (React): Designing and influencing how web services, architectures, and design systems are built, and development processes are designed, with an accent on strategic planning of frontend technologies and practices. Focus on building scalable architectures, design systems, and development processes while mentoring other developers.

Location: Our offices are in Helsinki, Tampere, and Stockholm. We’re primarily looking for someone based in the Helsinki area, but we’re open to candidates living a bit further away, for example, in Tampere or Turku - as long as you're willing to visit the client’s office when needed.

What you will do

• Influence deeply how web services, architectures, and design systems are built and development processes are designed.
• Define technology choices, design system architectures, and mentor other developers.
• Strategically plan frontend technologies and practices.
• Build scalable architectures, design systems, and development processes.
• Apply agile development methods, test automation, and continuous delivery.
• Act as a technical trailblazer, designing and deciding how frontend solutions should be implemented.

Requirements

• Approximately 10+ years of experience in frontend development and architecture design, especially with consumer-facing user interfaces.
• Strong expertise in the modern frontend technology stack including React, Vue or Angular, TypeScript, modern JavaScript, design systems, and component libraries.
• Ability to conduct code reviews and understand how good frontend code is created through teamwork.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to understand user and client needs and justify solutions.
• Fluent Finnish and English language skills are important for working with domestic and international clients.
