Senior Data Engineer

Location: Remote with hybrid model, one day a week in the office in Poland

Salary: PLN 235,000 - 353,000 per year

What you will do

• Publish well-written and tested code to production
• Design and develop key features and functionality of the data platform
• Investigate production issues and fine-tune data pipelines
• Continuously improve data pipelines for efficiency, throughput, and data quality
• Build foundational platforms for customer reporting, machine learning, and internal analytics
• Collaborate on researching and brainstorming technical solutions
• Solve complex problems with technical leadership and mentor others

Requirements

• Location: Must be able to work hybrid with presence in Poland office one day per week
• 4+ years software development/data engineering experience with 3+ years building scalable data platforms or pipelines
• Experience with Snowflake, DBT, Java, Python, or Scala
• Experience with AWS or related cloud technologies and Kubernetes infrastructure
• Strong data modeling skills and experience in high volume, high availability environments
• Ability to work effectively in geographically distributed teams and interrupt-driven environments

Nice to have

• Experience writing ETL jobs
• Knowledge of build and deployment tools
• Familiarity with Kafka, Flink, Spark, and job scheduling tools like Airflow, Celery, or AWS Step Functions
