What you will do

• Explore and implement AI-based solutions to optimize test automation processes including automatic test script generation and predictive failure detection
• Research and apply machine learning and data analytics to improve performance testing efficiency and coverage
• Collaborate on projects integrating AI tools with automation and performance testing frameworks like Selenium, Playwright, JMeter, and Gatling
• Participate in Proofs of Concept and feasibility studies for new AI-driven testing approaches
• Develop programming skills in Python, Java, TypeScript, and AI frameworks such as TensorFlow, scikit-learn, and PyTorch
• Work in an agile environment with multidisciplinary teams and exposure to DevOps practices

Requirements

• Must be a student enrolled in relevant engineering or computer science degree programs
• Interest in software engineering, test automation, performance testing, and AI/machine learning applications in software quality
• Basic programming knowledge and strong willingness to learn new technologies
• Ability to adapt to different teams and clients
• Strong communication skills and motivation for international projects with possible travel
• Location: Onsite in Porto, Portugal
