Project Manager (Fintech)

TL;DR

Project Manager (Fintech): Supporting IT transformation and infrastructure modernization projects within a regulated banking environment with an accent on planning, coordination, and delivery of cloud, migration, and modernization initiatives. What you will do

• Support planning, monitoring, and execution of IT transformation and infrastructure modernization projects.
• Coordinate cloud, migration, and modernization initiatives with technical teams and vendors.
• Ensure project alignment with internal processes and company policies.
• Track project progress, monitor risks, and report potential threats.
• Collaborate with development teams, analysts, and testers to resolve roadblocks.
• Assist in budget management and report preparation.

Requirements

• At least 3–4 years of experience in managing IT projects, preferably in corporate or banking environments.
• Experience with cloud or transformation projects (VDI, migrations, modernizations, deployments).
• General knowledge of cloud technologies (Azure, AWS, private banking cloud).
• Basic understanding of networking concepts (firewalls, load balancing, routing, network segmentation, DMZ).
• Strong project management skills: planning, risk management, stakeholder reporting, parallel team coordination.
• Strong communication skills to translate technical topics into business language.
• Proficiency in PM tools: MS Project, Jira, Confluence, Excel, PowerPoint.
• Ability to work in an environment with strict security requirements and complex approval structures (typical for the banking sector).

Nice to have

• Experience in infrastructure projects (AD, network, storage, virtualization).
• Knowledge of ITIL processes (Change/Incident/Problem Management).
• Experience working with vendors and external suppliers.
• Certificates: PMP, PRINCE2, Agile PM, Scrum Master, AZ-900 or other basic cloud certifications.
• Experience working in regulated industries (banking, insurance, energy).
