Middle Javascript Engineer

TL;DR

Middle Javascript Engineer (Backend): Developing and improving complex web applications and backend services for an energy platform with an accent on API design, high-performance Node.js applications, and infrastructure deployment. Focus on designing scalable solutions, enhancing code quality, and supporting CI/CD pipelines.

Location: Remote in Ukraine

What you will do

• Design and implement complex web applications using best practices
• Improve engineering and quality standards within the team
• Create and assist with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps collaboration
• Participate in hiring and technical interviews
• Coach junior engineers as needed

Requirements

• Must be located in Ukraine or able to work remotely from Ukraine
• Proficient in API architectural styles including monolith, microservices, and serverless
• Strong experience with Node.js and Typescript
• Knowledge of testing approaches and code quality metrics
• Hands-on experience with Docker and AWS infrastructure
• Familiarity with Kafka and complex database queries
