What you will do

• Develop and maintain Java-based backend services using Springboot.
• Build RESTful APIs and manage API gateways like APIGEE.
• Deploy and manage applications using Docker, Kubernetes, Istio, and Helm.
• Work with cloud platforms such as GCP and infrastructure as code tools like Terraform.
• Implement DevOps practices using Git, Maven, Jenkins CI/CD, Nexus, and SonarQube.
• Use SQL/NoSQL databases and apply TDD with JUnit.

Requirements

• Location: Hybrid work based in Bristol, UK
• Strong experience with Java and Springboot.
• Experience with container technologies and Kubernetes management.
• Cloud experience with GCP and Terraform.
• Good understanding of DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines.
• English proficiency at least B2 level.

Nice to have

• Experience with microservice architecture and event-driven systems.
• Test automation skills including BDD and contract testing.
