Location: Hybrid work environment with local presence expected in Vancouver, Calgary, Toronto, Dublin, or Sydney

What you will do

  • Lead, coach, and mentor a team of Government & Public Sector Account Executives to meet revenue and performance goals.
  • Manage complex government sales cycles including RFPs, RFIs, security reviews, and compliance evaluations.
  • Drive accurate forecasting, territory planning, and opportunity development within the public sector segment.
  • Recruit, hire, onboard, and develop sales talent to meet headcount and performance targets.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with sales leadership, solution engineering, marketing, and other teams to address procurement and contracting requirements.
  • Travel up to 20% to support team development and customer engagement.

Requirements

  • Must have 5+ years leading sales teams and 2+ years closing large, complex SaaS deals.
  • Experience selling into Public Sector State, Local, and Education organizations with knowledge of government purchasing cycles.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams through RFP and RFI processes ensuring compliance.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with public sector stakeholders including CIOs and Procurement Officers.
  • Comfortable coaching high-performing sales teams and driving consistent high performance.
  • Experience with Salesforce and sales tools is a plus.
  • Interest in leveraging AI to improve sales craft.

Nice to have

  • Experience selling into the legal industry or operating platforms.
  • Familiarity with public sector compliance, security standards, or government contracting frameworks.
  • Experience in hyper-growth environments.
