Node.js Developer

TL;DR

Node.js Developer (Backend): Developing and enhancing high-availability REST APIs for cross-domain search platforms with an accent on API compatibility, scalability, and performance. Location: Remote work available across multiple European cities and countries including Serbia, Poland, Ukraine, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Latvia, and Romania

What you will do

• Expand and enhance existing REST API suite for high-availability, cross-domain search
• Ensure API compatibility, consistency, and improved search capabilities
• Collaborate with IT Lead, Product Owner, and Business Analyst to deliver sprint stories
• Identify and implement improvements in reliability, scalability, and performance
• Write and maintain high-quality technical documentation
• Review and contribute to a high-quality codebase

Requirements

• Strong experience with Node.js
• Proficiency in JavaScript and/or TypeScript
• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience with OpenSearch and/or Elasticsearch
• Location: Remote candidates from specified European countries only

Nice to have

• Experience with Python
• Experience working with AWS services
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Knowledge of RESTful API design
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to learn quickly and contribute effectively in a fast-paced environment
