TL;DR

Treasury and Payments Associate/Manager (Fintech): Ensuring seamless day-to-day operations by managing treasury, payments, and reconciliation processes with an accent on accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with regulations. Focus on conducting cash forecasts, optimizing liquidity management strategies, and championing process improvements with product and engineering teams.

Location: Remote or hybrid across Europe, with hubs in Berlin, London, or Tallinn. Ability to work remotely abroad for up to 183 days a year.

hirify.global is a fintech company building an Investment API to empower businesses to offer a wide range of investment products, partnering with leading European fintechs and financial institutions.

What you will do

  • Process and reconcile inbound and outbound payments and treasury operations.
  • Manage customer payments and monitor all related transactions to support smooth cash flows.
  • Prepare and distribute cash & securities reconciliation reports to management.
  • Conduct cash forecasts and offer insights on liquidity management strategies.
  • Investigate and resolve any discrepancies between internal cash records and external statements.
  • Ensure full compliance with all applicable laws and regulations in the payments landscape.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of relevant work experience with a focus on Treasury, Payments, or Reconciliations.
  • Very good understanding of the global payments space including Sepa, Target, UK payment flows, and Swift cross border transfers.
  • Strong investigative and analytical skills with the ability to identify errors.
  • Fluent in English (both written and verbal); German is a strong advantage.
  • Exceptional ability to communicate and foster positive business relationships.
