What you will do

• Design and optimize AI-powered legal workflows and assistants reflecting authentic legal reasoning.
• Collaborate with Product Managers and Machine Learning Engineers to translate legal expertise into structured prompts and data.
• Work with Legal Engineering to evaluate customer use cases and develop scalable product features.
• Develop and maintain domain-specific legal knowledge frameworks across key areas like corporate, M&A, litigation, and regulatory.
• Create and validate training data, prompts, and evaluation sets to ensure model reliability and legal soundness.
• Review and improve AI outputs for quality, accuracy, and tone to meet professional legal standards.

Requirements

• Must be based onsite in Berlin, Germany.
• Strong legal background with a law degree and several years of experience in top law firms or in-house legal departments.
• Deep understanding of legal workflows, drafting standards, and complex legal matters.
• Passion for AI and technology with curiosity about large language models in legal work.
• Proficiency in German and English (written and spoken).
• Excellent analytical, communication, and writing skills with attention to detail.
