What you will do
- Create outstanding 3D assets from start to finish, including modeling, texturing, and UV mapping.
- Take ownership of integrating assets into Unity, ensuring they look great and function correctly in-game.
- Work closely with the Art Director and technical teams to maintain visual consistency and efficient workflows.
- Optimize complex assets to ensure high performance without sacrificing visual quality.
Requirements
- Outstanding 3D art portfolio.
- Expert proficiency in Blender.
- Strong understanding of modern game art pipelines, including PBR texturing and modular asset creation.
- Proven experience in the game industry, ideally with shipped titles on PC or Console.
- Must be able to work onsite in Tampere, Finland.
Nice to have
- Deep understanding of Unity (e.g., Shaders, Scene Lighting, or VFX).
- Experience working with outsourcing partners or managing external art production.
- Multi-disciplinary skills: Experience with animation, level design, or concept art.
- Technical art knowledge (scripting or rigging) to help improve art pipelines.
- Experience mentoring junior artists or documenting art workflows.
