TL;DR

Focus on developing high-quality models, textures, and UVs, ensuring their correct in-game function and performance, and maintaining visual consistency across the project.

Location: Onsite in Tampere, Finland

hirify.global is developing an ambitious simulation game with unprecedented scale and detail.

What you will do

  • Create outstanding 3D assets from start to finish, including modeling, texturing, and UV mapping.
  • Take ownership of integrating assets into Unity, ensuring they look great and function correctly in-game.
  • Work closely with the Art Director and technical teams to maintain visual consistency and efficient workflows.
  • Optimize complex assets to ensure high performance without sacrificing visual quality.

Requirements

  • Outstanding 3D art portfolio.
  • Expert proficiency in Blender.
  • Strong understanding of modern game art pipelines, including PBR texturing and modular asset creation.
  • Proven experience in the game industry, ideally with shipped titles on PC or Console.
  • Must be able to work onsite in Tampere, Finland.

Nice to have

  • Deep understanding of Unity (e.g., Shaders, Scene Lighting, or VFX).
  • Experience working with outsourcing partners or managing external art production.
  • Multi-disciplinary skills: Experience with animation, level design, or concept art.
  • Technical art knowledge (scripting or rigging) to help improve art pipelines.
  • Experience mentoring junior artists or documenting art workflows.
