Junior User Experience Designer (E-commerce)

Junior User Experience Designer (E-commerce): Creating an intuitive, accessible, and engaging experience on hirify.global's direct sales channel with an accent on optimizing the customer journey and supporting direct sales and customer service. Focus on improving website conversion rates and CSAT scores, and supporting self-service.

Location: Hybrid in Amsterdam. Candidates must have the right to work in the Netherlands.

What you will do

• Design wireframes, user flows, and low-fidelity prototypes for hirify.global.com pages (focusing on product display, marketing, and support pages).
• Ensure all designs align with the existing design system and brand guidelines.
• Proactively review new and existing designs (UX/UI) to identify user experience issues, accessibility gaps, and areas for improvement.
• Actively participate in design critiques, sprint refinements, and work closely with the Product Owner and development team.
• Support the UX Researcher and CRO Specialist in planning and executing usability tests, A/B tests, and gathering user feedback.

Requirements

• Initial exposure to and ability to learn UX design tools quickly (e.g., Figma).
• Basic knowledge of and eagerness to apply user-centred design principles and methodologies.
• Ability to assist in user research and usability testing activities, indicating an understanding of common user research tools.
• Basic knowledge of accessibility standards and guidelines (e.g., WCAG).
• Strong communication skills and a willingness to work collaboratively within a dynamic, multidisciplinary team.
• Exposure to data analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) and an interest in using data to inform design decisions.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies (Scrum).
• Familiarity with or curiosity about how AI tools can automate repetitive design tasks or personalise user experiences.
