Software Engineering Architect (AI): Designing and architecting complex, scalable, and secure data-driven software systems with an accent on building a best-of-breed Semantic Layer for AI-based data analytics capabilities. Focus on architecting distributed systems, leveraging AI/ML, and leading engineering teams to ensure performance, reliability, and scalability.
Location: Hybrid in Tel Aviv, Israel with 1-3 days remote and 1-4 days in office

What you will do
- Define secure, scalable, and resilient architecture for large-scale distributed systems across multiple cloud environments.
- Design and govern the next generation semantic layer and data modeling framework with AI integration.
- Write code and proofs of concept while managing multiple high-priority projects.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams.
- Collaborate with PMs, AI experts, engineers, and stakeholders to implement architectural strategies.
- Create comprehensive documentation for architectural designs and decisions.
Requirements
- Must have 15+ years of software engineering experience with 3+ years in an architectural role.
- Experience designing or maintaining semantic layers, data modeling frameworks, or BI engines.
- Expertise in distributed systems, microservices, backend data systems, and databases (SQL/NoSQL).
- Proficiency in modern programming languages such as Java, C#, Python, and Go.
- Experience with cloud-native services, serverless architectures, and DevOps practices.
- Location: Must be based in or able to work hybrid in Tel Aviv, Israel.
