What you will do

• Build and maintain high-scale ML pipelines using big data technologies such as Spark, BigQuery, and Delta Lake.
• Leverage ML platforms like Vertex AI and Databricks to orchestrate workflows and optimize models for batch and real-time inference.
• Deeply understand domain challenges like fraud detection and location spoofing to engineer effective features and intelligence.
• Champion software engineering best practices including CI/CD, automated testing, code reviews, and documentation.
• Lead technical projects, define milestones, ensure timely delivery, and mentor data scientists on engineering standards.

Requirements

• Location: Must be based in Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam or able to work hybrid from this location.
• Strong fundamentals in both software engineering and data science, with experience running ML models in production at scale.
• Hands-on experience with Databricks or Vertex AI and building scalable ML pipelines.
• Excellent English communication skills for cross-team collaboration.
• Self-motivated with ability to independently drive complex technical initiatives.

Nice to have

• Experience in fraud detection or anomaly detection.
