What you will do

• Serve as a product expert and technical consultant for eCommerce platforms such as Shopify, BigCommerce, and OroCommerce.
• Collaborate with sales, product, and delivery teams to design tailored eCommerce solutions and present technical demonstrations.
• Lead discovery sessions, needs analysis, and solution workshops with enterprise clients.
• Provide pre-sales technical support including architecture, integrations, and scalability advice.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success from ideation to go-live.
• Stay current on eCommerce technology and industry trends.

Requirements

• Strong B2B/B2C eCommerce experience as a Pre-Sales Engineer or Technical Consultant with platforms like Shopify, BigCommerce, or OroCommerce
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Hands-on experience designing modern eCommerce architectures including cloud and composable platforms.
• Excellent client consultation and presentation skills to translate technology into business value.
• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP), REST/SOAP APIs, and ERP/CRM integrations.
• Strong verbal and written English skills required

Nice to have

• Relevant eCommerce certifications.
• OroCommerce or PHP skills.
• Experience with B2B commerce features like buyer roles and complex pricing.
• Familiarity with Order Management Systems, multi-language deployments, and eCommerce analytics.
• Strong visualization skills.
