Location: York, 4x per week onsite

Salary: Up to £65,000 per annum

What you will do

• Design, implement, and maintain cloud-based data pipelines and ETL processes
• Build scalable data models to support analytics, reporting, and data products
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate data requirements into technical solutions
• Ensure data integrity, security, governance, and compliance
• Implement data observability, monitoring, metadata, and lineage tracking
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for data engineering workloads

Requirements

• Location: York, 4x per week onsite
• Proven experience building and maintaining data pipelines and ETL in cloud CI/CD environments
• Strong SQL and Python skills
• Experience troubleshooting complex data issues
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to data quality
• Ability to manage workload and meet deadlines

Nice to have

• Experience with Azure or Microsoft Fabric data architecture
• Knowledge of data governance, data quality frameworks, and security best practices
• Familiarity with Agile delivery environments
• Experience preparing data for LLM or data agent readiness
• Exposure to data cataloguing tools and metadata management
