What you will do
- Lead, mentor, and support a team of 3-6 SREs, fostering a collaborative and inclusive culture aligned with company values.
- Provide technical direction, enforce coding standards, and promote best practices for scalable software solutions.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and developers to align technical requirements with business goals.
- Act as a central point of contact to ensure efficient communication and clear expectations.
- Track progress and quality during development lifecycle and drive continuous improvement.
- Identify risks and technical challenges early, removing blockers to maintain project momentum.
Requirements
- Must have at least 10 years of IT experience including 5 years in managerial or technical leadership roles.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Proven ability to inspire, motivate, and drive accountability within a team.
- Advanced technical understanding of front-end and back-end development from conception to production support.
- Solution-oriented and strategic mindset with strong cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Location: Hybrid work with presence required in Canadian offices (Montréal, Quebec, Toronto).
