Location: Fully remote in the US or Canada

Salary: $28 - $35 per hour

What you will do

• Perform detailed malware analysis and reverse engineering.
• Improve malware-analysis workflows and tools.
• Extract configuration data from malware using in-house tools and manual techniques.
• Track relations between new threats and existing actors.
• Document threat evolutions and intelligence gaps for the Intelligence Team.
• Create host-based and network-based signatures for large-scale threat detection and hunting.

Requirements

• Must be currently enrolled in a 4-year undergraduate program with at least 2 years completed, graduating between August 2026 and January 2027 in relevant fields like Computer Science or Cybersecurity.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to quickly learn new analysis techniques.
• Knowledge of malware analysis or reverse-engineering principles.
• Ability to communicate complex technical and non-technical concepts effectively.
• Proficiency in programming and scripting languages, especially Python.
• Must be able to work remotely from the US or Canada.

Nice to have

• In-depth knowledge of Windows and UNIX-based platforms.
• Experience with binary instrumentation and malware signature development.
• Familiarity with tools like IDA, Binary Ninja, Ghidra, WinDbg, and debuggers.
• Experience with C/C++, Rust, Golang, C#, and .NET.
