Site Reliability Engineer

TL;DR

Site Reliability Engineer (DevOps): Responsible for monitoring, diagnosing, and resolving production incidents for Apigee API implementations with an accent on system health, observability, and automation. Focus on building diagnostic tools, incident response, and collaboration across engineering and governance teams to ensure API stability and performance.

Location: Onsite in Prague, Czechia

What you will do

• Serve as first line of defense for production incidents with rapid triage and resolution.
• Monitor system health and performance of deployed APIs and integrations.
• Collaborate with platform engineers to implement observability, logging, and alerting best practices.
• Build diagnostic tools, runbooks, and automated workflows to improve incident response.
• Maintain knowledge bases and playbooks for troubleshooting and knowledge transfer.
• Partner with governance and compliance teams to document and remediate incidents.

Requirements

• Must be located in Prague, Czechia (onsite)
• 3+ years experience in production support, SRE, or DevOps, preferably with Apigee APIs.
• Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure (GCP preferred) and observability tools.
• Proficiency in Python or shell scripting for automation and troubleshooting.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Excellent communication and incident management skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with CI/CD tools and alerts/monitoring automation.
• Familiarity with API integrations.
