Podcast Video Editor (News): Delivering high-quality visualised podcasts for various digital platforms with an accent on editing news and politics video content. Focus on creating engaging video from filmed material, adapting for both short-form social videos and long-form content.

Location: Based in the UK (on-site work required for studio and filming tasks).

What you will do

Deliver high-quality visualised podcasts for app, website, YouTube, and social channels.
Work with political journalists to leverage their knowledge for content creation.
Create engaging video content from filmed material, adapting for different platforms.
Edit both short-form vertical videos for social media and long-form content.
Filming podcasts in person when required.

Requirements

Proven experience in editing news and politics video for online platforms, including YouTube.
Excellent knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro, including AutoPod.
Experience using Riverside software for virtual recording.
Ability to edit pacy and engaging business video podcasts under time pressure.
NCTJ or equivalent qualification.
English: B2 required.

Nice to have

Some understanding of Adobe After Effects.
Some experience in filming visualised podcasts, both in studio and remotely.
