Focus on researching, implementing, and validating computer vision and image processing techniques tailored for SAR data characteristics and participating in flight tests.

What you will do

• Conduct a comprehensive literature review of modern target detection techniques applicable to SAR imagery.
• Develop and implement POI (Points of Interest) detection and characterization algorithms, including change detection, infrastructure detection, and vehicle detection and measurement.
• Document all work performed, including methodologies, results, performances, and conclusions.
• Actively participate in flight test sessions to gather real-world data and validate the effectiveness of developed algorithms.

Requirements

• Educational Background: Graduate student in an Engineering School, Master’s program, or equivalent, seeking a Final Year or Gap Year Internship. Specialization in Computer Science, Data Science, Signal and Image Processing or Remote Sensing is required.
• Strong proficiency in Python (including numerical libraries like NumPy, Pandas, OpenCV) or C++.
• Familiarity with Image processing concepts and Computer Vision.
• Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication, able to clearly articulate and present your work.

Nice to have

• Knowledge in Deep Learning.
• Knowledge of RADAR principles.
