What you will do

• Analyze functional and non-functional requirements with a focus on performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Design, develop, and execute performance, load, stress, and endurance tests.
• Create and maintain performance test scenarios using tools such as JMeter and k6.
• Collaborate closely with engineering, DevOps, and product teams to identify performance risks.
• Monitor system behavior during tests, analyze test results, and document findings and recommendations.
• Contribute to performance benchmarks, SLAs, and continuously improve performance testing strategies.

Requirements

• Minimum 4 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance or Performance Testing.
• Hands-on experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter and/or k6.
• Strong understanding of performance testing concepts: load, stress, spike, soak, and scalability testing.
• Experience testing RESTful APIs and backend services.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and integrating performance tests (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps).
• Basic understanding of cloud-based architectures and distributed systems.
• Fluency in English (written and spoken).

Nice to have

• Experience with monitoring and observability tools (Grafana, Prometheus, Datadog, New Relic).
• Scripting or programming experience (JavaScript, Java, or Python).
• Experience running performance tests in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Knowledge of containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
