QA Engineer

TL;DR

QA Engineer: Designing and maintaining robust automated testing frameworks for Payroll and HR software with an accent on sophisticated test automation strategies. Location: Hybrid, must be living and working in Portugal and within commuting distance of the Lisbon office.

Salary: €42,000–€56,000 gross annual including holiday allowance.

What you will do

• Design and implement end-to-end automated testing strategies.
• Develop and maintain manual and automated test frameworks and tools.
• Collaborate with developers to implement testing during feature development.
• Create and execute test plans for complex system integrations.
• Identify and track software defects through resolution.
• Drive continuous improvement in QA processes and tools.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as a Quality Assurance engineer.
• Strong programming skills in .NET and C#.
• Experience building and maintaining automated test frameworks (Selenium or Playwright).
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and testing integration.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
• Excellent command of English in spoken and written form.

Nice to have

• Practical experience with SQL.
• Knowledge of API testing.
• Experience in Microsoft Azure (or similar).
