Senior Software Engineer, AI Tasks (Fullstack)

TL;DR

Senior Software Engineer (AI): Building and scaling core AI surfaces and execution patterns for customer workflows, including AI by hirify.global and Human in the Loop, with an accent on designing elegant, reliable AI execution patterns at scale. Focus on bringing LLM-native workflows to life, solving complex orchestration challenges, and improving developer experience and observability.

Location: Remote (United States and Canada)

Compensation: $170.8K – $225K

What you will do

• Design and build features enabling users to delegate tasks and orchestrate workflows using natural language.
• Contribute to backend systems managing agent memory, reasoning, execution, and system integrations.
• Build and refine user-facing features and interfaces for monitoring and guiding agent behavior.
• Collaborate with AI and platform teams to connect hirify.global Agents with core orchestration infrastructure.
• Own projects end-to-end, from scoping and architecture to implementation and support.
• Improve developer experience, observability, and deployment pipelines as the product matures.

Requirements

• English: B2 required
• Work location: Must be permanently based in the United States or Canada.
• Strong backend experience with Python/Django building reliable, scalable, and observable services.
• Advanced experience with React (and ideally frameworks like Next.js) for cohesive user experiences.
• Familiarity with AWS primitives (S3, SQS, Lambda, RDS) and relational databases (PostgreSQL or MySQL).
• Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs, building event-driven systems, and working with data integrations.
• Proven ability to lead complex technical projects and coach teammates.
