Product Designer (User Research)

TL;DR

Senior Product Designer (User Research): Developing and extending UX capabilities for oncology applications, focusing on crafting intuitive cross-platform user experiences across desktop, mobile, and tablet. Location: Remote (LATAM), with a strong preference to support the east coast USA.

What you will do

• Decide what user research is needed, apply research methods, and analyze results to inform design decisions.
• Collaborate closely with Product Management and Engineering to deliver product designs.
• Craft and deliver compelling, approachable, and intuitive cross-platform user experiences from concept to market.
• Apply fundamental user experience, design, and research principles to ensure intuitive customer journeys.
• Transform complex ideas into creative, simple, and responsive designs within technology and time constraints.
• Understand doctors' workflows through field visits and leverage user feedback to validate design decisions.

Requirements

• Demonstrated excellence in creating user flows, interaction patterns, and product experiences that align with user needs.
• Ability to drive complex workflows and distill detailed input from researchers, program managers, and users into approachable UI.
• Project management skills to drive user research activities and manage stakeholders.
• 5+ years of product design experience.
• 2+ years of user research experience.
• Ability to explore the design of complex systems.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills to communicate design rationale.

• Experience with design within the medical ecosystem.
• Passion for improving the healthcare of people, especially cancer patients.
• Visual design capability and additional skillsets like writing or public speaking.
• Understanding of design systems, data platforms, and UI delivered through multiple devices.
