What you will do

• Design and evaluate features, providing feedback.
• Identify performance issues and optimize solutions.
• Design, document, and implement clean and robust solutions to complex business problems.
• Collaborate with engineering teams, stakeholders, and product managers to define and implement technical solutions.
• Mentor junior developers and drive design and code reviews.
• Monitor and support the system in production, promoting cloud-oriented solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in an engineering discipline, preferably computer science, or equivalent working experience.
• 10+ years of professional experience delivering quality software with Java and Spring.
• Experience with RESTful architecture and microservices.
• Experience with system design, architecture, scaling, and performance testing.
• Experience with AWS or other cloud platforms.
• Experience with SQL databases and basic knowledge of NoSQL databases.
• Familiarity with CI/CD, testing, monitoring, and alerting tools.
• English: B2 required.
• Location: Must be based in Central Europe.

Nice to have

• Experience with Kubernetes and Docker.
• Knowledge of Kafka or any other streaming platforms.
