What you will do

• Develop and test animation rigs for a wide range of assets based on project needs.
• Execute clean skin-weighting and implement corrective blendshapes for high-quality silhouettes.
• Utilize modular rigging systems and Python tools to ensure optimized asset publishing.
• Address and fix rig-related bugs and performance issues identified by the Animation department.
• Partner with Modelling and CFX artists to ensure assets are technically sound for simulation.

Requirements

• Professional experience in Maya rigging, including FK/IK systems, constraints, and deformation.
• Working knowledge of Python for automating repetitive rigging tasks.
• Strong anatomical awareness and understanding of joint placement and deformation.
• Experience with production tracking software (Shotgrid) and maintaining clean file structures.
• Freelancers must be registered as sole proprietors, entrepreneurs, or self-employed professionals.
• Remote candidates must be located within ±2h of Budapest (CET).
