What you will do

• Architect, build, and maintain the hirify.global platform software for massively-scalable global IoT deployments.
• Build, maintain, and refactor existing codebases, extend APIs, and improve test coverage.
• Work with profilers, benchmarking, and state analysis tools.
• Leverage AI tools such as Claude Code and GH Copilot.
• Identify and eliminate performance bottlenecks.
• Solve edge cases and find common truths behind them.

Requirements

• Deep knowledge of Typescript and Node.js and their ecosystem, with hands-on experience in backend development.
• Strong software engineering background (5+ years) and experience in architecting, developing, and delivering modern and robust Cloud-native applications.
• A strong sense of ownership, a pragmatic problem-solving methodology, and the drive to see projects through to successful completion.
• Profound experience with the web framework React and reactive state management systems.
• A proven track record of creating and maintaining robust CI/CD pipelines (e.g., using GitHub Actions) and proficiency in GitOps principles and tools such as ArgoCD and Helm.
• Experience with diverse architectures, event-driven systems, and designing resilient inter-service communication using technologies like gRPC and reactive programming.

Nice to have

• Experience with Chakra UI.
• Experience with A/B-Testing and working with feature-toggles.
