What you will do

• Build and scale new and existing backend products with end-to-end ownership.
• Work primarily with Java backend, occasionally across full stack including frontend, integrations, cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, and data flows.
• Design and build scalable, robust applications in cloud environments.
• Contribute to architecture decisions and testing/automation efforts.
• Collaborate in a high-trust, high-performing team environment.

Requirements

• Based in Sweden with Swedish citizenship, valid work visa, or permanent residency.
• 5+ years of experience building backend systems with Java.
• Cloud native experience with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, AWS/GCP/Azure, Terraform.
• Fluent English (spoken and written).
• Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related field.

Nice to have

• Experience with additional languages such as TypeScript, JavaScript, Scala, Kotlin.
