What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs in PHP (Laravel) and Go
• Participate in technical decision-making and suggest architectural and workflow improvements
• Ensure performance, scalability, and security in all developments
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and design teams to deliver impactful features
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex backend issues in production
• Mentor less experienced developers and promote knowledge sharing

Requirements

• Location: Hybrid work model with 2 days per week onsite in Vilnius or Kaunas, Lithuania
• English and Lithuanian language skills required
• 3–5+ years of backend development experience with PHP (Laravel) and Go
• Experience building scalable APIs and services
• Strong database skills with MySQL/PostgreSQL and query optimization
• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD, and modern development pipelines

Nice to have

• Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Experience with cloud environments and high-traffic systems
