Backend (AWS) Developer

TL;DR

Backend Developer (AWS): Building and optimizing high-volume, real-time flight data streams and cloud-native processing pipelines with an accent on API design, infrastructure shaping, and CI/CD processes. Focus on developing and maintaining APIs for 3rd parties and in-house applications, and designing backends for products.

Location: Hybrid work, based in the Stockholm Office.

What you will do

• Work with high-volume, real-time flight data streams, supporting detailed visualization and analysis.
• Develop and maintain APIs that provide valuable navigation datasets to 3rd parties and in-house applications.
• Shape the infrastructure and CI/CD processes around projects.
• Develop and maintain flight simulator integrations.
• Design, develop, and maintain the backends of products.

Requirements

• Proven record of building and maintaining robust software.
• Proficiency in TypeScript, Node.js, and relational databases.
• Proficiency with backend development and system design.
• Proficiency with managing cloud infrastructure, preferably AWS.
• Proficiency working with DevOps.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.

Nice to have

• Experience with React and frontend development.
• Understanding of principles in navigation and geography.
• Passion for flight simulation and aviation.
• Experience with flight simulator avionics.
