Sales Specialist (Fintech): Proposing data and analytics solutions to FICC and Equity Sales & Trading businesses with an accent on understanding client workflows, conducting demos, and closing deals. Focus on taking a strategic, high-level view of clients’ global expansion and co-creating innovative solutions with major financial institutions.

Location: Hybrid working in Tokyo, Japan (4 days in office, 1 day at home)

What you will do

• Propose data and analytics solutions to FICC & Equity Sales & Trading businesses.
• Understand client workflows and challenges, conduct demos, propose solutions, and close deals.
• Collaborate with relationship managers, customer support, marketing, and inside sales teams in Japan and overseas.
• Co-create innovative solutions with executives and specialists at major financial institutions.

Requirements

• Wholesale experience at a financial Data & Analytics provider or financial institution (approximately 2 years or more).
• A solution-based sales approach and strong closing skills.
• Understanding of Sales & Trading business in at least one of the following areas: foreign exchange, bonds, interest rates, or equities.
• Business-level proficiency in both Japanese and English.
• Willingness to develop career in the Financial X Technology industry.

Nice to have

• Sales experience in a fast-paced environment in a global company is preferred.
