Salary: $217,000 - $255,000 USD (Zone 1 locations)

What you will do

• Own and scale custodial and non-custodial crypto custody programs, building secure infrastructure for new assets and markets
• Drive reliability, scalability, and automation by transforming manual custody operations into resilient, policy-driven systems
• Design and implement custody services including transaction signing, policy enforcement, reconciliation, and monitoring
• Collaborate cross-functionally with infrastructure, security, compliance, finance, and risk teams to ensure secure and compliant custody operations
• Lead secure key ceremonies and physical custody processes with high standards of precision and audit readiness

Requirements

• Must be based in or able to work onsite in New York, NY with at least 3 days per week in office
• 6+ years experience building and scaling blockchain custody systems in regulated environments
• Proficiency in Python and/or Go and strong understanding of cloud-native architectures (AWS, Kubernetes)
• Deep knowledge of multisignature and MPC custody systems, HSMs, and custody vendors
• In-depth understanding of blockchain protocols including UTXO-based and account-based models
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with a documentation-first, security-conscious approach
