Location: This full-time remote role is open to employees based in the UK, Ireland, Estonia, the Netherlands, Sweden, and Israel, and to contractors across other EMEA locations, including Eastern Europe and Portugal.

What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain automated test frameworks using Playwright and TypeScript.
• Develop and execute tests for web apps, APIs, and microservices.
• Integrate automation into GitHub Actions CI/CD pipelines.
• Support and maintain test environments using GCP, AWS, Terraform, and Pulumi.
• Lead and mentor engineers on automation frameworks and best practices.
• Define and evolve test strategies for SaaS platforms, including data observability and FinOps systems.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in QA or SDET roles, with a proven track record driving automation-first testing strategies.
• 3+ years of hands-on coding experience in TypeScript, Python, or another OOP language.
• Deep expertise in Playwright or Cypress for both UI and API automation.
• Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines, cloud environments (GCP/AWS), and microservices architecture.
• Experience testing Cloud or SaaS-based products.
• Broad QA expertise across unit, integration, regression, UAT, and end-to-end testing.

Nice to have

• Experience with performance and load testing tools.
• Familiarity with FinOps.
• Knowledge of security and compliance best practices.
• Experience working in remote, global teams.
