Salary: $170,000 - $230,000 per year

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain highly scalable backend systems for the Financial Planning product.
• Collaborate with product managers, frontend engineers, and other stakeholders to implement new features.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code in C#, Java, or Scala.
• Integrate with external data providers such as Snowflake, NetSuite, and Stripe.
• Build and optimize APIs to support seamless integrations across our platform.
• Own the full development cycle from technical design to monitoring.

Requirements

• 9+ years of professional experience as a software engineer, strongly emphasizing backend development.
• Experience with C#, Java, or Scala development.
• Experience with relational databases like PostgreSQL, MySQL.
• Excellent knowledge of software design and scalable architecture.
• Experience with testing methodologies (unit-testing, TDD, mocking).
• Experience with AWS or an equivalent cloud platform.

Nice to have

• Experience developing a financial planning application or HR-related product.
• Experience with data pipelines, PySpark and AWS Glue.
• Technical leadership experience and/or mentoring junior developers.
