What you will do

• Architect, design, build, and deliver highly available API products and solutions.
• Collaborate with engineers, product owners, and colleagues to deliver value-driven solutions.
• Write clear, maintainable, and scalable code.
• Contribute to production operation, monitoring, and SLA awareness.
• Mentor engineers through code reviews and pair programming.
• Drive good practices and improve team processes.

Requirements

• Must be legally able to live and work in Portugal.
• Senior experience with modern .NET applications in C# and .NET Core.
• Experience designing HTTP APIs using ASP.NET MVC and WebAPI.
• Knowledge of test-driven development and comprehensive test strategies.
• Understanding of distributed systems, cloud technologies (preferably Azure), and event sourcing.
• Experience with CI/CD, agile environments, and flexible on-call availability.

Nice to have

• Experience building high-performance API products and launching APIs to internal and external consumers.
• Experience with cloud systems, especially Azure.
• Familiarity with hosted document databases like MongoDB and Cosmos DB.
• Experience with event-driven architectures and messaging.
