Senior Backend Engineer

TL;DR

Senior Backend Engineer: Building and optimizing backend functionality for host tools, focusing on creating and managing Stays and Experiences. Focus on driving technical requirements, designing scalable solutions, and mentoring other engineers.

Location: This position is US - Remote Eligible. You must live in a state where hirify.global, Inc. has a registered entity. The role may include occasional work at an hirify.global office or attendance at offsites.

Salary: $195,000—$220,000 USD

What you will do

• Collaborate with Client Engineering, Product Management, and Design teams to align on product requirements.
• Drive the scoping, technical requirements, design, implementation, and operation of new functionality.
• Build high-quality, re-usable backend components.
• Mentor and support other engineers in the team or in related teams.

Requirements

• 6+ years industry experience.
• Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree, preferably in CS, or equivalent experience.
• Experience in building high-quality, consumer-facing products.
• Ability to evaluate technical approaches and design product solutions to solve real-world problems.
• Ability to drive alignment, manage projects, and effectively collaborate with stakeholders.
• Experience mentoring junior engineers.
