What you will do

  • Own execution of the quarterly roadmap for the Attack Detection team and prioritize deliverables.
  • Deliver a high recall detection engine using model-based and heuristic detectors in adversarial settings.
  • Develop automated ML retraining pipelines and text-based signal models for multi-language email content.
  • Manage metrics related to recall, precision, and automation to proactively identify and repair attack degradations.
  • Drive team processes including sprint planning, risk identification, and continuous feedback.
  • Mentor and grow machine learning engineers and collaborate with platform and infrastructure teams on company-wide initiatives.

Requirements

  • Must be based in the USA to comply with U.S. export control laws and remote work restrictions.
  • 2+ years managing data-driven ML product teams at large scale (100M+ data points).
  • 3+ years designing and deploying ML applications in text understanding, NLP, computer vision, or related domains.
  • 4+ years hands-on experience building backend-heavy ML systems with high velocity.
  • Strong metrics-driven culture and ability to define and monitor excellence metrics.
  • Customer-obsessed with experience balancing stakeholder requirements and team roadmap.

Nice to have

  • Familiarity with the cybersecurity industry.
  • MS degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
  • Experience with hiring and retention of top talent.
