What you will do

• Build and scale real-time data systems processing over 2 billion daily events
• Design APIs and microservices delivering audience insights in milliseconds
• Collaborate with Operations, Data Science, and Product teams to implement production systems
• Own services end-to-end including design, development, deployment, and observability
• Enhance performance, reliability, and throughput of distributed systems

Requirements

• Location: Hybrid work in Belfast, UK with specified remote and onsite days
• 4+ years professional software engineering experience
• Proficiency in Go preferred; experience with other modern object-oriented languages accepted
• Experience with relational and document databases (Postgres, MongoDB)
• Strong communication and cross-team collaboration skills

Nice to have

• Production experience with Golang
• Experience with data streaming tools like Kafka
• Knowledge of AWS or other cloud platforms
• Experience with observability, caching, and high-throughput/low-latency systems
• Mentoring experience
