TL;DR

CRM Specialist (Marketing): Building and optimizing multi-channel CRM campaigns across email, push, WhatsApp, and in-product messaging with an accent on turning ideas into high-impact campaigns and ensuring delivery quality. Focus on using real-time data for targeting, executing A/B tests, and improving engagement and conversion rates.

Location: Hybrid in Cape Town, South Africa (minimum 2-3 days per week in-office)

What you will do

  • Build, run, and optimise multi-channel CRM campaigns (email, push, WhatsApp, in-app) from setup to launch and reporting.
  • Use real-time data to target users with personalised, timely messages across channels.
  • QA and test all content for rendering, functionality, and responsiveness.
  • Execute A/B tests, dynamic content, and modular templates to drive engagement and performance.
  • Track, analyse, and iterate campaigns to improve open, click, and conversion rates.
  • Collaborate with designers and copywriters to craft communications that inform, inspire, and convert.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of hands-on experience in CRM or email marketing within a digital B2C business.
  • Experience using an enterprise-level ESP such as Braze (preferred), Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Adobe Campaign, or Iterable.
  • Skilled in A/B testing, audience segmentation, and personalisation strategies.
  • Working knowledge of HTML and responsive frameworks for email development.
  • Comfortable interpreting campaign data and using dashboards to drive optimisation.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong written communication skills for outbound messages.

  • Experience with Liquid for email development.
  • Creative instinct for what resonates with customers.
  • Proactive, curious, and eager to learn new CRM tools and channels.
