What you will do

• Develop and maintain analytics-ready datasets aligned with healthcare standards (HL7, FHIR, X12, HEDIS)
• Translate complex healthcare concepts into curated, trusted data models
• Lead development and adoption of semantic layers, trusted metrics, and standardized KPIs
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business logic into governed datasets
• Promote data lineage, observability, validation frameworks, and enforce data contracts and schema standards
• Mentor Analytics Engineers and support platform reliability including on-call rotations

Requirements

• Must have 7+ years experience in analytics or data engineering
• Experience with EMR, claims, or healthcare-related data is required
• Proficiency with AWS cloud services, Spark, SQL, dbt, and data lakehouse architectures
• Strong understanding of data modeling principles and CI/CD/data testing frameworks
• Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in STEM, analytics, or related discipline
