Frontend Software Engineer (React)

Location: Hybrid work from the Green Point office in Cape Town, South Africa

What you will do

• Build a high-impact, cutting-edge product used by hundreds of thousands of users worldwide.
• Develop frontend applications with React and TypeScript.
• Implement interfaces using styling solutions such as Tailwind and SCSS.
• Collaborate with external clients and manage stakeholder relationships.
• Work through complex technical problems, communicate clearly, and proactively unblock yourself and others.
• Contribute to continuous improvement through Lean and Kaizen principles.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in a frontend engineering role.
• Professional experience with React and TypeScript.
• Experience with Tailwind, SCSS, or comparable styling solutions.
• Experience working with external clients and managing stakeholders.
• STEM or computer science degree, or equivalent relevant experience.
• Ability to work on a hybrid basis from Cape Town.
