Senior Security Engineer

Senior Security Engineer (Cybersecurity): Designing and implementing security methods, controls, and solutions to protect sensitive data, assets, and systems with an accent on risk assessment, vulnerability management, and compliance in Web3 and financial environments. Focus on leading security projects, collaborating cross-functionally, and enforcing security policies to ensure a resilient and compliant infrastructure.

Location: Hybrid with mandatory presence in Paris office 2-3 times per week

What you will do

• Design and enforce security methods and controls ensuring data and system integrity and confidentiality
• Lead hands-on implementation of security solutions and manage security projects from inception to rollout
• Identify and mitigate security risks and vulnerabilities proactively
• Develop and maintain security policies, standards, and procedures focused on data and funds security
• Collaborate with IT, Infra, R&D, Web3, HR, and business units to align security initiatives with business goals
• Contribute to ongoing security operations and monitoring functions

Requirements

• Must have 5+ years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity and security architecture
• Experience with IAM systems such as Okta, EDR, and MDM solutions
• Knowledge of regulatory and compliance standards like SOC 2, ISO 27001:2022, DORA, NIST
• Background in Web3, DeFi, or crypto trading platforms is highly advantageous
• Ability to work hybrid with presence in Paris office 2-3 times per week
• English proficiency at least B2 level
