What you will do

• Leverage cutting-edge data engineering techniques to facilitate informed business decisions for clients.
• Lead the development of robust data pipelines and design end-to-end solutions for sophisticated data products.
• Ensure stakeholders have seamless access to manipulation capabilities for data on a modern data platform.
• Design and build next-generation data platforms that support Data & AI initiatives.
• Set up cloud OTAP environments for platforms such as Azure, AWS, and GCP.
• Train and guide business consultants and junior developers in the application of cloud technology.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of work experience as a Data Engineer, including at least 2 years with Databricks technology (Spark and Delta Lake).
• Fluent in Dutch and English.
• Completed technical WO or HBO education with WO thinking and working level.
• Strong communication, analytical, and leadership skills for team collaboration.
• Experience with Cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, GCP), preferably with certifications.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with data modeling techniques: Dimensional, Relational, Data Vault.
• Experience with Pyspark, SQL, Python, data pipelines, API’s, Agile, Scrum, DevOps, data architecture, data storytelling, Infrastructure-as-Code, and ML-Ops.
