What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and architectures in Azure.
• Work on custom data warehousing, real-time pipelines, and ETL processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Optimize data workflows for performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Ensure data quality, security, and compliance with industry standards.
• Make technical decisions and stay updated with latest Data Engineering trends.

Requirements

• Location: Must be based in Croatia or able to work hybrid from company offices.
• Experience with Azure Cloud and modern ETL tools like Azure Data Factory or Databricks.
• Proficiency in Spark SQL and experience optimizing Databricks workloads.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to communicate data insights clearly.
• English: High proficiency (written and spoken) required.

Nice to have

• Experience with Databricks Unity Catalog for data governance.
• Knowledge of Python/PySpark.
• Experience with reporting tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
