Focus on designing secure, high-performance backend solutions, collaborating in agile squads, and mentoring junior developers.

Location: Hybrid in Mannheim, Germany with three days per week onsite

What you will do

• Design, build, and optimize backend features using Node.js and TypeScript ensuring scalability and maintainability
• Develop software automating complex compliance workflows for international clients
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers in small agile squads
• Ensure code quality through reviews, automated testing, and CI/CD practices
• Own architecture and design decisions optimizing performance and reliability
• Mentor junior developers and foster technical excellence

Requirements

• Location: Must be based in or near Mannheim, Germany with hybrid work model
• English: C1 proficiency required
• Strong backend development experience with Node.js and TypeScript
• Experience with REST and GraphQL web services
• Familiarity with Git and agile methodologies
